Frequently Asked Questions
A few gentle answers to the questions I'm asked most often. If yours isn't here, I'd love to hear from you.
Booking
Send me a note through the booking form with your date, location and the number of hours you have in mind. I'll check my calendar, reply with a personal quote, and once you're happy with it, I'll hold the date for you.
[NEEDS CONFIRMATION] For weddings, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date, as weekends fill up early. Family, maternity and newborn sessions can often be arranged within a few weeks. For newborns, I suggest getting in touch during pregnancy so we can plan around your due date.
[NEEDS CONFIRMATION] A deposit secures your date on my calendar, with the balance due on the day of the session. Please confirm the exact deposit amount and terms with me when you book.
[NEEDS CONFIRMATION] Life happens, and I'm always glad to find a new date together if plans change. Please let me know as early as you can. I'll share the full cancellation terms with your quote.
Pricing
My pricing is simple. A Mini Session starts at ₪900 for 30 minutes and about 25 images, held at our home in Moshav Beko'a. A Portrait Session, for family, maternity, fashion or newborn, starts at ₪1,500 for one hour (newborns are priced per session), with at least 50 edited images for up to five people and ₪150 for each additional person. Bar and Bat Mitzvah photography starts at ₪3,800 for a two-hour minimum, with travel in Jerusalem included, and ₪1,700 for each additional hour. An Intimate Wedding of up to four hours starts at ₪4,500, and a full Wedding Day starts at ₪8,000 for eight hours, with ₪1,000 for each additional hour. I'm happy to send a personal quote for your day. Prices in ₪. USD welcome at the day's rate.
Travel is calculated separately, at ₪2 per kilometre of driving from my home in the Judean Hills. For most sessions in and around Jerusalem, this comes to roughly ₪80. I'll always include it in your quote, so there are no surprises. For Bar and Bat Mitzvahs in the Jerusalem area, travel is already included.
You can pay in cash in ILS or USD, by Bit or PayBox in ILS, by CashApp or Zelle in USD, or by PayPal with a 5% fee. A PayPal request is sent by email after the session.
Sessions
Every session includes the hours of photography on location, careful editing of your images, at least 50 edited photos for each hour of photography, and a private online gallery to share with family and friends and to manage your downloads.
Choose clothing that feels like you and that you can move in comfortably. Soft, neutral or muted tones photograph beautifully in natural light, and coordinating colours look lovely without everyone matching. Try to avoid large logos and busy patterns. Flowing dresses and simple textures work beautifully for maternity sessions. If you'd like, send me a few options before your session and I'll gladly help you choose.
I don't work from a studio. Most of my sessions take place in my clients' homes or outdoors, in gardens, forests, by the sea or among the old stones of Jerusalem. We'll choose a place that feels meaningful to you and has lovely light.
Soft light in the early morning or the hour before sunset is my favourite for outdoor sessions. For newborn and in-home sessions, a bright room in the late morning works wonderfully. I'll suggest a time when we plan your session.
If rain or harsh weather is expected, we can move the session indoors or choose a new date together.
Yes. I'm based near Jerusalem and photograph throughout Israel, including Tel Aviv, the coast and the Galilee. Travel is added to your quote at ₪2 per kilometre. For sessions abroad, please get in touch so we can talk it through.
Weddings
Most of the weddings I photograph are six to eight hours, which allows time for portraits before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, family photos and the celebration. For a smaller or shorter day, four hours can be enough. I'm happy to help you plan a timeline.
Yes. An engagement or couples session is a lovely way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Just ask, and I'll include it in your quote.
Newborn
[NEEDS CONFIRMATION] Newborn sessions are most peaceful in the first weeks after birth, while your baby is sleepy and curled up. We'll pencil in a date around your due date and adjust it once your little one arrives.
One hour is usually enough. We take things slowly, with breaks for feeding and cuddles whenever your baby needs them.
After the session
[NEEDS CONFIRMATION] Your edited photos are delivered in a private online gallery. I'll let you know the expected delivery time when we book.
You'll receive at least 50 edited photos for each hour of photography, and it usually comes out to more.
Yes. Your gallery is yours to share with family and friends, and you can download your images for printing and keepsakes.
